DIETARY ASSESSMENT $45

This consultation is for a healthy dog and involves an evaluation of your current feeding practice and addresses basic objectives. You may have an interest in offering variety, changing to a different food style, or improving nutrients.

Specifically Included:

  • A review of your dog’s current health profile, including age, weight, activity level, and food and feeding schedules including supplements and treats or snacks.
  • A review of your current commercial food, specifically the ingredient list, food values, and an explanation of the label “Guaranteed Analysis” and/or “Dry Matter Basis” OR a review of your current home prepared diet plan for nutrient balance.
  • Recommendations targeting your stated goals.
  • Suggestions for optional fresh food additions or supplements as appropriate.
  • One follow-up email exchange.

 

WELLNESS ADJUSTMENT $55

This consultation involves a diet evaluation and plan for a current condition or recommendation for change, such as senior needs, convalescence diet, or weight management (loss/gain).

Specifically Included:

  • A review of your dog’s current health profile, including age, weight, activity level, and food and feeding schedules including supplements and treats or snacks.
  • A review and evaluation of the current diet plan.
  • Recommendations for an optimal diet plan targeting your stated goals.
  • Suggestions for optional fresh food additions or supplements as appropriate.
  • Two follow-up email exchanges within an agreed time frame.

 

PUPPY PLAN $65

This consultation involves an evaluation and plan for a puppy (up to 12 months old).

Specifically Included:

  • A review of your dog’s current health profile, including age, weight, activity level, and food and feeding schedules including supplements and treats or snacks.
  • A review and evaluation of the current diet.
  • Recommendations for an optimal diet plan targeting your puppies growth needs.
  • Suggestions for optional fresh food additions or supplements as appropriate.
  • Two follow-up email exchanges within an agreed time frame.

 

SPORTS or WORKING DOG SUPPORT $55

This consultation involves an evaluation and plan for those interested in a diet program for an active sports or working dog.

Specifically Included:

  • A review of your dog’s current health profile, including age, weight, activity level, and food and feeding schedules including supplements and treats or snacks.
  • A review and evaluation of the current diet plan.
  • Recommendations for an optimal diet plan targeting your stated goals.
  • Suggestions for optional fresh food additions or supplements as appropriate.
  • Two follow-up email exchanges within an agreed time frame.

 

HOME COOKED or RAW DIET CONSULTATION $65

This healthy dog consultation will assist you in transitioning your dog to a balanced, home made, whole food diet plan. Ingredients, recipes, supplements, preparation, storage and portions will be carefully outlined.

Specifically Included:

  • A review of your dog’s current health profile, including age, weight, activity level, and food and feeding schedules including supplements and treats or snacks.
  • Recommendations for transitioning from a commercial diet to a home prepared diet.
  • Recipes for providing a week’s meal plan based on your dog’s needs.
  • Suggestions for optional fresh food additions or supplements as appropriate.
  • Two to four follow-up email exchanges within an agreed time frame.

 

SPECIAL NEEDS $65 base fee*

This consultation is for those interested in an evaluation of food for a special needs dog or a dog facing health issues.   There is a current veterinary diagnosis or recommendation for dietary change, such as (but not limited to) allergy, colitis, pancreatitis, kidney or liver support, or cancer.

Completion of a comprehensive behavioral, health, nutrition and veterinary history questionnaire is required.

*Agreement of terms will have to be based on each specific case.

Specifically Included:

  • A review of your dog’s health profile, including age, weight, activity level, and food and feeding schedules including supplements and treats or snacks. Relevant veterinary records and test results are necessary.
  • A review and evaluation of the current diet plan ingredient list and food value.
  • Recommendations for an optimal diet plan targeting your dog’s specific health issues. This may necessitate a home cooked regimen requiring recipe or diet formulation.
  • Suggestions for optional fresh food additions or supplements as appropriate.
  • Two to four follow-up email exchanges within an agreed time frame.

VIRTUAL SHOPPING $35

This service is available for anyone interested in exploring commercial food options or assistance comparing commercial food brands or food types.

Includes a review of the ingredient list, food values, and an explanation of the label “Guaranteed Analysis” and/or “Dry Matter Basis” for up to four commercial diet products of your choosing.

ADDITIONAL SUPPORT TIME   $35.00

Four supplemental email exchanges, extending an existing or recent evaluation. Phone consultation(s) may be substituted as appropriate.
